As a prelude to the 27th Bangalore Tech Summit (BTS) 2024 scheduled for November 19-21, 2024 at Bangalore Palace, an open and dynamic industry dialogue led by Priyank Kharge was held in Delhi on September 24, in collaboration with Minister of Information Technology, Biotechnology and Rural Development, District Panchayat Raj, Government of Karnataka.
BTS 2024 will be organized by the Ministry of E, IT & BT, Govt. Karnataka and jointly organized by Software Technology Parks of India (STPI).
Shri Priyank Kharge was joined by Dr. Ekroop Kaur, IAS, Secretary to the Government, Department of Electronics, IT, Biotechnology and Science & Technology; Arvind Kumar, CEO, Software Technology Parks of India (STPI); Darshan HV, IAS, Managing Director, Karnataka Innovative and Technology Society (KITS), Department of Electronics, IT, Bt and S&T, Govt. Karnataka; Gurneet Tej, Resident Commissioner, CB, New Delhi; Shailendra Tyagi, Director, Software Technology Parks of India (STPI), Bengaluru and Jagdish Patankar, Executive Chairman, MM Activ - Curator of the event Bengaluru Tech Summit.
The Delhi Industry Meet brought together leaders from key sectors such as IT, Deeptech, Electronics, Telecom, Electric vehicles, Biotech, Gaming and Animation, representatives from various trade missions, heads of reputed research institutes as well as various Global Innovation Alliances (GIAs) partner countries. The Bengaluru Tech Summit is identified as a crucial platform in the global technology world, reinforcing Bengaluru and Karnataka's role as innovation leaders. The pre-event dialogue was held in Delhi to engage stakeholders from across the country and expand the reach of the summit beyond regional boundaries. Priyank Kharge said, "This year's summit will cover a wide range of topics across IT, Electronics, Biotechnology, start-ups and global innovation alliances, ensuring a comprehensive dialogue on the future of technology." The introduction of the new ESDM (Electronic Systems Design and Manufacturing) stream marks a significant step towards strengthening Karnataka's role as a leader in advanced manufacturing.
Dr. Ekroop Kaul emphasized: "Bangalore Tech Summit has gone beyond being just an event in Karnataka; it is now a national platform. We encourage and invite all sectors in Indian Electronics, Technology and Biotechnology to participate, showcase their innovations to a global audience and leverage this opportunity to accelerate their business growth.
With 85 sessions and over 460 speakers from industry and academia, BTS 2024 promises deep learning and dialogue.
Highlight programs of BTS 2024 include CEO Conclave, Startup Conclave and fireside chats with prominent industry leaders. Special focus will be placed on B2B meetings to facilitate structured networking and interaction, and the BTS Events App will provide seamless access to schedules and latest updates.
BTS 2024 International Expo will feature over 700 exhibitors, including dedicated pavilions such as Corporate & Industry, Global Innovation Alliance, Startup Zone and MSME Pavilion. Special sectorial pavilions will highlight breakthroughs in Biotech, Healthtech, Spacetech, Mobility, Greentech, Fintech, and more, with delegations from 40+ countries expected to participate, making BTS 2024 a truly global event.
