We’re seeking a dynamic Assistant Manager- Technical Support to represent Universal Biotechnology extensive Elisa Kits, antibodies and reagent portfolio.
To provide high-quality scientific and technical support to customers and internal sales teams for UBPL’s product portfolio, ensuring customer satisfaction, troubleshooting excellence, and repeat business growth.
Technical Support & Troubleshooting
Provide pre-sales and post-sales technical support for:
- ELISA Kits,
- Antibodies (WB, IHC, IF, Flow Cytometry),
- Recombinant Proteins,
- Molecular Biology Products (extraction kits, PCR, Post PCR etc.)
- Handle customer queries via email, phone, and WhatsApp.
- Troubleshoot experimental issues (ELISA OD variation, WB signal issues, etc.).
- Coordinate with international suppliers for escalations and resolutions.
Customer & Sales Support
- Assist sales team in product selection and application guidance.
- Provide technical inputs for quotations and tenders.
- Support key accounts and high-value customers with scientific discussions.
- Conduct product demonstrations and training sessions (online/offline).
Documentation & Reporting
- Maintain records of technical queries, complaints, and resolutions.
- Collect and analyze data (OD readings, standard curves, protocols).
- Prepare technical reports and case summaries for supplier escalation.
- Share COA, MSDS, protocol sheets, and validation data with customers.
Supplier Coordination
- Work closely with global brands.
- Submit structured troubleshooting reports (lot no., protocol, raw data).
- Follow up for replacement/refund cases.
Knowledge & Training
- Stay updated with product knowledge and new technologies.
- Train internal sales team on product applications and positioning.
- Support marketing team with technical content (brochures, demos, webinars).
- M.Sc. / M.Tech in Biotechnology, Life Sciences, Microbiology, or related field.
- PhD candidates (preferred but not mandatory).
- 2–5 years in technical support / lab research / biotech industry
Hands-on experience in:
- ELISA
- Western Blot
- Cell Culture
- PCR / Molecular Techniques
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills
- Excellent communication (written & verbal)
- Customer handling and problem-solving mindset
- Ability to interpret scientific data and protocols
- Coordination with international suppliers
Job Function: The Assistant Manager- Technical Support is responsible for delivering scientific and application-based support for UBPL’s product portfolio, including ELISA kits, antibodies, recombinant proteins, and molecular biology reagents. The role ensures effective pre-sales and post-sales technical assistance, enabling customers to achieve reliable experimental results while supporting business growth. The function involves troubleshooting technical issues, interpreting experimental data, and coordinating with global suppliers for resolution. The position also supports internal teams by providing application knowledge, product training, and technical inputs for sales and marketing activities. Additionally, the role focuses on maintaining high customer satisfaction, reducing complaint turnaround time, and strengthening UBPL’s reputation as a trusted scientific solution provider.
Schedule: Full-Time | Monday to Saturday | 09:30 AM – 6:30 PM (may vary based on field visits or training sessions) | Field travel required for customer site visits, technical support, training, and exhibitions.
